Culture
There had been many different aspects of cultures listed and described in this book.
The weather is usually hot and the indoor is about ten degrees cooler. Dragons are belived to see into the future. They are very powerful and wise. The family, even they are from the same origin, might have different color for the skin. Soldiers make a lot of money (compare to the business people) and the more stars you have the better your payments become.Usually people have big families (the narrator's family is big; father, mother, three boys, and four girls) The poorer the family, closer they live to the ground, or underground. Because the closer to the ground, there is more pollution and garbage, and harder for the people to live healthy. More wealthier, more stairs you have in the house, meaning that you have more space and more rooms for children and parents. There are books sold in languages of Chinese, Khmer, English, and French. Many dried fruits and vegetables sold at the market. The war had made more people miserable than they already were, and there never had been better solution than to end the war.

Dear Cambodia:
When there is one thing that changes the country to be destructive, that would be one foreign country that interferes. When there is one thing that benefits the country, that would be foreign influence. In your case... it is unfortunately the harm.
As I know people in the coutry is not advanced, as in education or technolgoy, but the foreign country forces had invaded the government's decision and had influenced all the other parts of the society which had led the conflict to the extreme violence like wise occuring in the country now. There are no solution, as far as I concern, as in how to resolve the conflict in a short period of time without expectin any loss. There would the sacrifices necessary, unfortunately, and it can be something that can be lasted for a longer time of period than anyone can ever expect. I feel I fortunate I am not experiencing any of these stuff that I have read, but I also feel pity for those who never know about the past and never is able to learn from these people. Telling my country's history, South Korea, which had separated itself from North Korea since the middle of 20th centry. I imagine how awful it is to lose someone so valuable and so precious in life. I am again so sorry to hear all the deaths that are occuring in Cambodia. I am hopeful, though, that throughout this book I can learn more and understand more about the war and its impact on the entire history of one coutnry and the impact of the society and its people.I have heard and indirectly experienced the conflicts and all the violence that you've experienced. I am very sorry to hear all of your loss and sickness. The country is on fire, with all the techno-weapons that are so different than decades ago.

When I have finished the book, overall I thought that how much effects there were for the country to go through the war. I personally first thought that I wanted to experience the war and the warfare, but now all the thinking that I had had been seized. In the previous posts I've claimed to experience the real war when I become a doctor. That thought had not been changed, but the mindset had been totally changed off. War is something that one should fear, avoid, and to hide off from. It shouldn't be something one shouldn't be waiting for... or thinking about having... just by learning from the texts I know how terrible it is. If my father died..., I wouldn't be able to live. It would be so hard on me to experience through that moment. The narrator is strong. very strong that she actually lives as if her father is just living off of the house for a long time. as if there is nothing that really kills her. The father, the mother, the sibilings... I feel I can't live without any one of them. I feel like I need them so much in my life that just by thinking that one of them died, that already depresses me... I hope, that someday that nobody cries or worries about the death of his/her family memebers... I wish in peace that I wouldn't see or hear much of the fighting and the killings... I know that if the day comes, even though one sees blood, nobody would be crying or screaming... I know that the day will come, and I understand that the day will come soon.

Khmer Rouge... this political party of Camobida killed about 1.5 million people or the third of the country's population under its regime. Its name come from the French, meaning Red Khmer. This Communist Party of Kampuchea, later the Party of Democratic Kampuchea, this violent organization gave so negative outcomes to the country that its motto was "To keep you is no benefit. To destroy you is no loss." This similar thing happened in China also when the same type of the beliefs were settled and spread through the country. Until 1979, lasting four years, when it was invaded by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and was replaced by moderate Communists, there were mass killing and harrassings. Its peace agreement, the leader Pol Pot, dissolved the organization, and was put on trial. There are so many effects of this evenets that it took several years to heal from this incident. Always, these communists were trying to take over the country with force even though there are so many victims within the country. The people are not experienced with this war forces... the men and women go through series of pain and sufferings. The chaotic situation continues... the reality doesn't end that fast. And once they realize it, their loved ones are gone, and what they have left is depression and fear..

Reflecting William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” with Graphic Novel
“Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare would become an effective literature if it were to be depicted into the graphic novel. By expressing the characters and the setting into pictures the reader would get better ideas for what is going on. It is hard for readers to understand this literature at first sight because there are so many characters and so much changing of the scenes. Since there are many changing of the scenes and time, the graphic novel would give much organized and precise descriptions. Since this type of literature, the play write, is originally for the visualization, graphic novels would convey much more information than just words. It would be difficult, though, to depict the emotions for the characters, but since the play write also doesn’t give away much of the emotions either, it would be actually better to present this literature with pictures. Expressing of the time would be much better also, through presenting the scenes in chronological ways, and doing techniques of narrating out the place and the times along with the pictures of the settings. This would give much easier time to recognize the plot and the characters, and it would also excite the readers more for there would be higher levels for hypocrisy and irony.
